The annual Leadville Firecracker 5K starts downtown at 9 a.m. Registration is at 8 a.m. or you can preregister at Melanzana at 716 Harrison Avenue.

Leadville Trail Marathon 2011 at Leadville, CO
July 2, 2011 from 8am to 3pm
The Leadville Trail Marathon will mark its 12th year in 2011. Run through the historic mining district’s challenging old mining roads and trails, and hit a high of 13,185 feet at Mosquito Pass. The views will leave you breathless, if you’re not already.
