"Alex:  I am in a similar boat, on top of fighting with my wife for running slots.  I wouldn't be able either, if I didn't have a treadmill at home.  I have done multiple sessions in a day, early and late. I have not done too…"

"I have a wife, 4 kids, day job, and consulting biz so not sure I can squeeze in 60 miles a week. We have a couple treadmills in the office so I've been hitting those in the winter months for 20-30 miles a week. I completed my first 50 mile…"

"The race can be completed on less than 3,000 miles in a year.  I proved that.  But that's about the level that most of the folks I know and train with like to be in."

I've set a personal goal of 3000 miles in the 52 week period leading to the 2012 LT100.  That's 50 weeks at an average of 60 miles per week (some will be more / some will be less  ... ranging from 40 miles a week to 80 miles a week essentially) + 15 'zero / vacation / contingency' days (in addition to scheduled rest days) should I choose / need to take them. I finished my last '100' (actually 135 miles) at my 13th finish at Badwater in July 2009, then took a rest year in 2010 where I averaged…See More
