Really depends on the weather for the day.  There have been years when it snows or the temps are oddly low.  But in "normal years", most people I see carry just a shell.  For myself, I don't.  I run warm in the morning just fine.  The time I have put a jacket on is past midnight when going back up Powerline.  It tends to be cold and breezy up there in the middle of the night.  Then the temps are often colder as you go back around Turquoise Lake due to moisture.  Some folks will wear a heavier jacket at that time.  If you have a crew or drop bag, you can take alternatives and decide at game time.

I bring a shell and a hoodie. If it's day time and just raining or windy (or both) then the shell is usually enough. But when night falls (especially over Sugarloaf) I use the hoodie. If it's night and raining or windy then I put the shell over the hoodie.
