A resource for runners who like to suffer.
Planning on hosting a few ad-hoc training events in Leadville this summer. Using my house there as a basecamp and then doing some longer-ish runs were we can setup carpools and such. Mostly thinking July at this point, because I will be focused on Western States in June. Then doing a few final events in August like our annual night run.
Who's interested?
What types of training events would you be interested in? Long/short? Specific course sections? Hanging with other newbies, prior finishers, studs?

Permalink Reply by Alex Ross on December 13, 2011 at 7:15am Sounds like a good time! I'm looking at doing Silver Rush 50 again in July as well.
This will be my first 100 so just looking to hit cutoff times and survive!

Permalink Reply by Rocky Kroeger on December 14, 2011 at 1:32pm That sounds sweet, Brandon! I am definitely in and in the field. Are you still running Pb after your awesome lottery for WS? I would also be happy to host a 4-Pass Looper in Aspen at some point. Thank you for your hospitality and passion!!

This will be my first 100 and plan on 5-6 trips to Leadville late May - July. Would like to have a few group runs. Would like to see Hope Pass at least once, Fish to Twin (day), and Twin to Fish at night.

It will be my first 100 as well.

I live in Denver and would love to join folks for runs in the Leadville area, would love to do 4 Pass near Aspen, and other long trail training runs, perhaps in the Moab area too. Does anyone feel like they can set some dates yet? Ran the Silver Rush 50 last year, and passed a runner for the last 50 of the 100. This year's Leadville 100 will be my first 100. I want to finish!
Permalink Reply by Nicholas B Lee on February 6, 2012 at 7:32am I'm definitely in. I'll be up hopefully about once a week starting in June.
