Event Description

This has become an annual tradition and I am pleased to host once again for 2012!

2 weeks before the running of the LT100, a group of runners will meet at my house for a little pre-party. Then we will caravan out 4 miles to Fish Hatchery where we will begin the run. We will cover the last miles of the course in the dark to get people familiar with how its done on race day. The sun usually sets by the time we are to the top of Powerline. We usually stop along the way at various points to bring the group back together. Its not a race. As we come up the Boulevard, we will veer into my neighborhood instead of going to the actual finish (save that for race day). I will provide a warm house, showers, food, and chairs as we celebrate the completion of our last long run together. Guest are free to camp in the yard and use the facilities at their leisure.

This weekend is the Boom Days festival in Leadville too. So you may want to come early and spend the day checking out the activities.
