Do you have any pictures of your set-up?  I would love to see how you did it.

I used the same strategy of a small charger to charge my Garmin 610 during the Leadville Silver Rush 50. I was able to re-charge mu Garmin 610 on the run without any blips or problems. I plan to do that same thing for the 100.

I live in Denver and would love to join folks for runs in the Leadville area, would love to do 4 Pass near Aspen, and other long trail training runs, perhaps in the Moab area too. Does anyone feel like they can set some dates yet? Ran the Silver…

Five trips, you lucky dog!  I hope to get at least one other trip up there aside from the training camp.  It will be my first 100 as well.

This will be my first 100 and plan on 5-6 trips to Leadville late May - July.  Would like to have a few group runs.  Would like to see Hope Pass at least once, Fish to Twin (day), and Twin to Fish at night.

GPS Watches For The Leadville 100 7 Replies

I am a GPS junky.  I admit that.  So when I ran my first Leadville 100 I knew it was going to be a challenge to capture my data for the entire race.  My Garmin 305 and 405 weren't going to cut it…Continue

Setting a Mileage Goal 10 Replies

I've set a personal goal of 3000 miles in the 52 week period leading to the 2012 LT100.  That's 50 weeks at an average of 60 miles per week (some will be more / some will be less  ... ranging from 40…Continue

Leadville Training Plan

Quick and dirty:  I'd love some feedback.

I've got my next 9 months laid out running wise and would love to have some input on what I've got right and what's wrong.

First a link to the plan itself.

I'm starting off really slow and ramping miles up at a rate of about 10%/week because I recently took a full 7 weeks off from running in the wake of a broken bone…

Denver Trail Night usage! - Jefferson County trails

I know a fair amount of you are on the front range in Denver and this could possibly affect you in a very positive way but we'll have to fight for this. Jeffco is currently being asked to consider allowing us (runners/hikers/mtb-ers) to use the Jeffco Open Space trails at night. We have until the 26th of March to collect idea, comments, concerns before the next presentation to the board. For a rundown by Adam Feerst, many of you will recognize the name from the LT100 email list, please see…

Leadville isn't only for running in the summer.  Stuff happens there in the winter too!

Check out the run Brooks and I did this weekend while visiting some attractions during the Crystal Carnival.
